En Plein Air 

En plein air is a French term meaning the act of painting outdoors. When I lived in Taos, New Mexico, there were many opportunities to paint  breathtaking landscapes that often included wildlife. Back in Texas, I continued to explore plein air painting as a member of the Waterloo Watercolor Association or on my own, traipsing through the hill country and surrounding towns.
